We see in the cold open that Michael has gotten Pam a part time job at Dunder Mifflin corporate, because NY is expensive and Pam has run out of money while at art school. But she pays the price for the favor, because Michael now has a place to get a hold of her, and ask her all sorts of stupid questions and say "Pamela" in his Ricola voice.

Michael and Holly are dating and boy are they really dating. The banter between them is amazing, she really is his equal.

Michael "When can I see you again?"
Holly "Tonight. I'm free tonight. Is that too eager? I don't care. I'm free tonight"

Finally a woman who doesn't play any games.

Michael then plans their 3rd date, which he says is traditionally the one where you have sex.

Michael "Does Holly feel that way? I don't know. I will probably find out tonight. If she starts having sex with me I'll know for sure". That sounds like a sure fire way to know.

Andy hands out save the date announcements for Angela and his wedding. Dwight turns to Phyllis for help on winning Angela back after she reminds him she knows they are having an affair.

Holly and Michael discussing their date tonight.

Michael "Some of what we order would depend on whether we are having sex after".
Uncomfortable laughter from both.
Michael "Wow, elephant in the room.......Are we, do you think we are going to have sex tonight?"
Holly "Hell yeah."

Again no games. I love her!!!

Dwight tells Phyllis about his relationship to Angela.

Dwight "She introduced me to so many things - pasteurized milk, sheets, monotheism, presents on your birthday, preventative medicine".

Sheets? I really don't want to ask what he used before. And I learned something too. I had to look up monotheism.

Dwight asks Phyllis why is she marrying Andy.

"Angela is not really a risk taker. And Andy is not really a risk."

Michael and Holly leave work for the night later after everyone else, but Holly says she left her keys upstairs and they go back in. This was actually Holly's way of getting the camera crew out of the office building so she could attack Michael in the stairway. What a girl.

In the morning we find out the office has been robbed. Someone left the door to the building unlocked. Hmmmm who were the last two in the building. Two little lovers I would guess.

Jim finds on his work answering machine a message from Pam. She went out with friends the night before and accidentally called his phone leaving a message of her drinking and partying.

Jim listening to message, "The future mother of my children".

Now quite an awwwww moment there from Jim. But also quite a showing of security on his part to be okay with his fiance partying it up with others in NYC late in the night.

Phyllis tells Dwight he needs to give Angela an ultimatum, pick him or Andy. Dwight gives Angela to 6:14pm to decide on the buffoon or "this" as he points to his lovely self.

Michael decides to throw Crime Aid, to auction off items and services to raise money to get back the things the office and the employee lost in the robbery. Michael decides to draw in the people to auction off Bruce Springsteen tickets.

Holly "He knows how to get things. He got me."
Michael "Twice".

C.R.I.M.E. A.I.D. Crime Reduces Innocence Makes Everyone Angry I Declare.

Michael makes his entrance to his favorite Bruce Springsteen song "The Heart Of Rock N Roll".

Darryl "Mike gave me a list of top ten Bruce Springsteen songs. Three of them were Huey Lewis and The News. One was Tracy Chapman Fast Car, and my personal favorite Short People."

• A yoga lesson from Holly Flax - which no one bids on, so Michael buys it for $300.00


• To go out with Darryl and the guys in the warehouse right now for a beer - which Jim anxiously bids $5.00 and Darryl says sold. So they all leave.


• Creed "all inclusive" a priceless item in itself.


• Kevin will do your taxes, federal and state. No one bids, Kevin storms off the stage.


• Hank, the security guy, Doyle plays the blues CD's.


• David Wallace, the CEO of Dunder Mifflin, shows up and auctions off a weekend at his place in Martha's Vineyard.


• Michael tells everyone his BS tickets were stole. Take a wild guess if they ever really existed.


• Phyllis auctions off a hug. A bidding war starts on this between Bob Vance, her husband from Vance Refrigeration, and Dwight, paying her back for helping him. Bob wins $1000.00

Michael hits the gavel on the table it squeaks.

Michael" What the hell is that?"
Phyllis "That was the only gavel I could find."
Michael "It squeaks when you bang it. That's what she said."

Single handed the best That's What She Said ever on this show. I must have used it at least 5 times in the last week.

While at the bar, Jim runs into Roy, Pam's ex fiance. The awkwardness ensues.

Roy "Relax, I'm not gonna hit you." Guess Jim thinks he overpaid on his $5.00 bid now.
Jim later tells Roy they are engaged. He congratulates them. Jim tells him she is happy and tells him about her going out last night.

Jim "Last night she was out with her friends until 8am".
Roy "Wow, I thought you were her friend".

Ouch. This not only hurt me but hurt Jim. Next scene is Jim in his car driving to NYC. "I felt like I should see Pam." Right before he is to turn onto the highway for NYC, he turns the car back around "No, I'm not that guy and we are not that couple." Good for you Jim, but in my opinion Pam should be doing more to prove that on her end too. Just saying. But then I have always had my opinion that Jim puts much more into their relationship than Pam does, even when they were just friends.

Angela lets Dwight's deadline pass. She has chosen Andy, Dwight is devastated. Phyllis tells Dwight he has to move on now. Dwight accuses Phyllis of just trying to secure her place as head of the party planning committee.

The office raises $1803.00, surprisingly. Michael kisses Holly in the warehouse at the end.

But they are not alone, David Wallace sees them kiss. David "No, I did not know Michael was dating Holly."

Uh 0h, the CEO catching HR and the manager kissing. This cannot be good.

Jim - "Jan is about to have a baby with a sperm donor. And Michael is preparing for the birth of a watermelon with Dwight. This baby will be related to Michael through........delusion."

This is the perfect summation of the beginning of this episode. Michael is going to act like this is his baby. After Dwight proclaims his cervix is ripening, he then simulates his water breaking by dumping a cup of water between his legs and then catching it in another cup and drinking it. Even I had to stop and say EWWWWWW. Dwight then simulates the birth of the watermelon, I mean baby, in Michael's office.

Dwight - "DO YOU HAVE THE SHARPIE? DO YOU HAVE THE SHARPIE? When the baby emerges mark it secretly in a kind of a mark that only you can recognize and that no baby snatcher could ever copy."

Brilliant Dwight, not only are you using the Sharpie trick that Michael used in the Christmas party episode with the Benihana waitress but you also now have saved hospitals tons of money in using those stupid bracelets.

Dwight then delivers the watermelon, which Michael drops due the fact that Dwight covered it in butter because "newborns are slippery".

Michael has the office throwing a baby shower for Jan. Michael has M&M's personalized with the baby's prospective names "Chevy" for a boy, and "Astird". Yes Astird. That will be explained later.

Pam is still at art school. Jim and her are trying to stay in touch over the phone, but Pam's stories about the various dorm residents issues are starting to bore and confuse Jim. And before he can catch on to the story Pam has to go to class.

Michael tells Holly that he has to ignore her and treat her badly in front of Jan so that Jan doesn't get jealous or mad, because Jan is in the "terminal" state of her pregnancy, and Jan is really big and fat and Holly is one of the more attractive people in the office, and so is Ryan.

Stanley gives one of my favorite lines about pregnant women, "I do not like pregnant women in my workplace. they are always complaining. I have varicose veins too. I have swollen ankles. I'm constantly hungry. You don't think my nipples don't get sore too? You don't think I don't need to know the fastest way to the hospital?" You know, he really does have a point.

Jan comes into the office......carrying the baby. Guess Michael wasn't invited to the delivery or told of her arrival. Michael meets Astird, or as Jan corrects "Astrid". That is much better, in an 80's semi-hippie kind of way. Jan lets Michael know that her birthing instructor thought it was a good idea if he wasn't at the birth. Poor Michael.

Michael begins his fake hatred of Holly as they all enter the baby shower. "I'm fine weirdo. Such an HR weirdo. Try not to suck out all of the air in there as you walk in." As a person in the HR field, I actually do find these comments quite funny. I tell my boss them all the time.

The shower doesn't go well as most of the games are designed around the baby not actually being here yet. The office chips in together to buy Jan a stroller. But the one Jan has costs $1200 and is supposed to be top line. Well leave it to Dwight "Consumer Report" Schrute to see if Jan's stroller is so great. He takes the stroller out of the office and puts it to the test, tying it to the back of his Trans Am, and throwing it up against a fence.

Jan sings "Son Of A Preacher Man" to her baby in front of everyone. And as Jim explains to Pam on the phone, the song is about someone losing their virginity next to a church. Very child appropriate.

While Jim is on the phone with Pam telling her the story, she can barely hear him due to the washing machines at the laundromat she is in. So she has to let him go. She comments on that they are just having a day where they are not in sync, and that everyone has days like this, oh and she washed her lipstick in her towels.

Jan description of the birth in a tub, makes many people lose their appetite for cake. Michael starts to feel quite badly that he wasn't there for the birth so he goes to the best place possible for sympathetic advise....the warehouse. There he asks Darryl, about being a Baby Daddy and having an instant connection with the "baby baby" (not a typo). Darryl tries to inform Michael that he is not the baby Daddy and he shouldn't feel a connection to her. We are still not sure if Michael is getting it.

Holly wakes up Jan, who decided to take a nap in reception. When Jan asks where Astrid is, Holly says she is on a sales call "Waaaaaa, more paper, waaaa". Jan is rude to her. Shocking, but I really thought it was funny.

Andy and Angela decide while Jan is sleeping to put Astrid in a Anne Geddes type picture in the kitchen in a cornucopia surrounded by produce. Andy "She is nature's bounty."

Michael helps Jan to her car with the baby. Jan tells Michael she does not want him to date Holly. Michael agrees, although he doesn't know why. When Michael walks back in the office he goes right over to Holly and gives her a very slow yet touching hug, and then asks "You wanna go out?" Holly says yes, and with tears in her eyes. Michael "I didn't feel much when I held Astrid, but I got a good feeling from Holly". YOU GO MICHAEL! I was never so proud of him.

The last scene we see that Jim and Pam are really quite in sync. They both reach each other's voice mail at the same time at the end of the day, and relay the same story about a scary man that they both had encountered on a trip together to Pam's laundromat and how Jim then helped Pam buy a washer and dryer. They both end the conversation with "I miss you".

I really liked this episode. It had great juxtaposition in the craziness of the baby, and Dwight's birth mixed along with little touching scenes with Holly and Michael, and Jim and Pam. Its one of the great talents of The Office writing staff, the mix of these two elements. Even though Michael does wacky things in every episode, we are really starting to see him grow as a person through the wonderfulness that is Holly. I only wish she were staying on the show forever. And I hope this is the end of Jan, but I think that is wishful thinking. I do love that they are making the relationship with Jim and Pam work, and not making it a soap opera, but I am hoping they bring her back to Scranton soon. We had enough of them being apart during the whole Stamford year.

Whenever I really like something, a TV show, a band, a movie, I get very nervous when they come out with something new, for fear that it won't be good. So every time The Office airs a new episode I hold my breath hoping that it will be good.

Well, not since Casino Night have I been blown away with an episode like this one. It was one hour long, not tedious at all, and action packed. It was well written, tremendously acted and destined to be an Office classic.

Michael and Holly - I absolutely love the whole storyline between them. Its as if they are now the wacky version of Jim and Pam of the show. The unrequited love story, trying to be friends and supporting each other with their romantic pursuits, even though neither one will admit to each other they want to be together. Holly is, as Jim stated it, a dork and this fits perfect with Michael. She loves his wacky things he does, she loves the songs he makes up and the stunts he pulls in the office. She doesn't criticize him or look down on him. And Michael following Jim's plan of just getting to know her first, is hysterical and touching at the same time. He is trying to hard to play it cool, its painful yet so sweet. I hope this is a story they keep going for a long time. Amy Adams is fantastic, and it would be a shame for the show to lose her.

Angela/Dwight/Andy - Angela is still engaged to Andy but it meeting Dwight in the warehouse for a little extra something special. I'm surprised she is doing this. She was so mad at Dwight for mercy killing her cat Sprinkles that she broke up with him. But now she likes him enough to keep sleeping with him but not enough to dump a fiance she is not in love with, nor even likes that much. Just not working with me. Also she is super rigid and super religious, so this doesn't even go with her moral character. I love these 3 characters individually but not a fan of this triangle right now.

Jim and Pam - I could smell the predictability of part of this show a mile away. Pam goes away to school and slowly her and Jim start having trouble figuring out how to see each other with their schedule. Pam starts making friends and even a guy she is laughing with. Oh great here it comes, that person to get in the way of their relationship. But then, holy Greg Daniels, throws in a huge curve ball and has Jim propose to her in the most awesome way. Out in the rain in front of a rest stop, Jim gets down on one knee and tells Pam he can't wait and asks her to marry him. She says yes. Despite all the funny things and funny faces John Krasinski makes and does in his scenes that are great, its when he actually does the serious scenes that you really see how talented he is at it. Case in point, Casino Night. This was a great decision on the shows part. A long engagement and a big drawn out relationship between the two would have just been overkill. This is the show that can prove that a couple can be together and happy and not be boring.

The return of Ryan was fantastic. I loved seeing him sulk back in the office now as the temporary receptionist. The hostility that the other DM'ers have for Ryan will only lead to great scenes. Lets see how long Kelly can resist him too and what type of interactions Darryl has with him. And then there is still Jan's baby. We know that she is still going to be in Michael's life. With Holly now in the picture, this is going to make for one interesting triangle.

Favorite scene (serious) - the Jim Pam proposal of course, hey we waited 4 years for this, we deserved it.

Favorite scene (funny) - was actually Kelly's talking head where she has the dark circles under her eyes from the extreme dieting she was doing and says "I just bought some bikini's online, size 2, so I will look amazing" Its her best talking head ever.

I think the show has a whole new life this year, with lots of possibilities for great story lines. I am more excited than ever to see what they have planned.

Well after a long summer, The Office is back with a one hour premiere entitled "Weight Loss".

Summary - This episode is a first as it covers the seven weeks over the summer, that you usually do not see. Corporate is sponsoring a weight loss contest amongst the branches. The branch who loses the most weight combined wins 3 extra days of vacation. Scranton tries all sort of methods to make sure they win the contest. Pam goes off to art school, and the Dwight/Angela/Andy triangle continues.

Week 1 June 30 - 2210 lbs
Scranton has a party to add weight on so that their numbers are higher when they start and they can lose more in that time. The party consists of a buffet of fried chicken, mac and cheese and a fountain spewing out cheddar cheese. The entire staff (except Pam) gets on the warehouse scale for their weekly weigh in. Dwight reading the weigh says "You people need to learn some portion control."

Week 2 July 7 - 2179 lbs (31 lbs lost)
Stanley is seriously losing weight, and hiding it from everyone. Michael continues his secret love of Holly, Jim keeps encouraging him to just keep it as friends for now. Dwight decides to clean out the vending machine of junk and fill it with fruits and veggies, hammering them into the slots. Oscar tries to fix Holly up with his yoga instructor. Pam leaves for New York for design school. She tells the camera "What up 212?!"

Andy tries to book a place for his and Angela's wedding. "Every little boy has fantasies about their fairy tale wedding (oh my Andy). But still unknown to Andy, Dwight and Angela are having frequent trysts in the warehouse during the workday. As Jim walks Pam to her car, so she can leave for NYC, Michael runs after her. He wants her to hear a poem he wrote for her, but he left it upstairs. Michael says, "The last word is seagulls". Pam says, "I'm sure it was really lovely".

We find out Pam and Jim are not engaged. They have decided they didn't want to spend the first 3 months of their engagement apart. Jim tells a story of why Pam doesn't want a long engagement, something about another engagement, some guy in the warehouse. He doesn't know much about that. :)

Jim explains why he thinks Holly and Michael would make a good match. "Holly is kinda a major dork". Just perfect for Michael.

Week 3 July 14th - 2184 lbs (gained 5 lbs)
"Dunder Mifflin, this is Ronnie. (WHAT?) Pam's, temporary replacement, Ronnie, is a middle-aged blond woman. Jim's thoughts on Ronnie, "I don't really know Ronnie. But I have a feeling that I will get to know her in the next few years. And eventually declare my love for her".

Pam's time at school doesn't start off well. She ends up in the wrong class. Kelly tries extreme methods to lose weight. She first tries the cleanse diet. Consisting of drinking a concoction of lemons, hot sauce, and some other strange ingredients. This makes her miserable, have dark circles and bags under her eyes, and on the edge of losing her mind. "I just bought some bikini's online, size 2, so I will look amazing".

Jan visits, very very pregnant. Michael when greeting her belly "Whose your daddy? Whose your daddy? Oh, you don't know who are your daddy is do you?"

Holly finds out Kevin is not mentally challenged when Angela yells at him calling him stupid, Holly steps in to defend him, exposing what she was told he was and Kevin denies it. Holly is embarrassed.

Angela's explanation of how she lives with the "visits" with Dwight. " I have a nice comforter, several cozy pillows. I usually read a chapter of a book and its lights out by 8:30pm. That is how I sleep at night".

Week 4 July 21 - 2183 lbs (lost 1 lb)
Phyllis runs the party planning committee with an iron fist. She now holds the position over Angela from catching Angela and Dwight in one of their passionate moments.

Michael's comment on willpower "I once went 28 years without having sex. And then again for 7 years".

Jim leaves to visit Pam in NYC. Michael decides to give him a condom, as all nice caring bosses should do. Jim ditches the camera upon entering Pam's dorm room by telling the camera to look at Pam's art on the wall. The wall is blank, the door shuts and locks (whoo whoo).

Andy sweetens over Angela by telling her he will marry her anywhere anytime. Angela feels awful for how she treated him, kisses him and doesn't show up for her afternoon tryst with Dwight.

Holly is going on a date with Oscar's yoga instructor. Michael decides to support her, as a friend should do.

Week 5 July 28th - 2183 lbs (zero pounds)
All the branches aren't doing well in the weight loss battle. Corporate decides to up the ante to 5 extra vacation days as a prize. Kelly decides to help this and swallows a tapeworm that Creed gave her. Creed "That wasn't a tapeworm".

RYAN IS BACK..................as the new temporary receptionist to replace Pam. Michael decides to hire him from the temp agency. I really don't think corporate knows this. They probably wouldn't be too happy to know Michael hired a former employee arrested for fraud. But it did make for a nice shocking element to the show.

Holly's date goes well. Michael keeps supporting her. But when he is around Jim he is annoyed at following Jim's advice to just be her friend. "You know my seduction method. I like to get in there and get my hands dirty". Smooth Michael.

Dwight tries to make up with Phyllis by asking her to go on a sales call with him and split the commission 60/40. Dwight ends up taking Phyllis to an abandoned warehouse in a bad neighborhood and leaves her with no cell phone and makes her walk back to the office so that she will lose weight. Phyllis, furious with Dwight when she returns, calls David Wallace, the CEO of Dunder Mifflin.

Week 6 August 4th - (no weigh in)
Corporate issues a memo stating that they do not discriminate nor condone unhealthy dieting habits or extreme weight loss strategies. This is a result of Phyllis calling Wallace. Michael decides to show everyone about weight, by wearing a half inflated sumo wrestling suit and telling Kelly that she is beautiful.

Week 7 August 11th - 2179 lbs (4 lbs)
Holly's date hasn't called in 3 days. And she has tickets that night for the Counting Crows. Michael tells her to give him at least until 5pm to call.

Jim hasn't seen Pam in 10 days. He talks to her in IM, and asks her to meet him for lunch at a rest stop halfway between them. Scranton finds out they need to lose 8lbs by the end of the day to beat Utica. Andy decides to turn up the heat, and several staff wears trash bags suits to sweat out these last few pounds.

Andy insists that his singing group, Here Comes Treble, sings at their wedding. Angela says no. Andy finally puts his foot down and says this is a deal breaker. When he lists the awful nicknames of the members of the group, Angela gets fed up and goes out to have another tryst with Dwight.

Jim meets Pam at a rest stop, drops down to one knee. Says he couldn't wait and proposes to her. Pam says yes. Later Jim comes back to the office in time for the weigh in, he is soaked but ecstatic. (Holy Crap)

Holly's date does not call. Michael decides to buy the concert tickets from her and then rips them up in front of her to show her that now she doesn't need to think about them and be upset. Holly's is completely confused by his gesture.

Final weigh in 2175 (lost 5 lbs), but not enough to win. Utica gets the 5 days vacation.

In the last scene, we find Toby in the hospital in a complete neck and head brace. He has broken his neck going zip lining while in Costa Rica. He has been there for 5 weeks, still hasn't seen the beach, and the camera crew is his first visitor. Poor Toby.

Whew... long and action packed show. Next, my thoughts on the episode.

Summary - Jan gives Michael the news that Dunder Mifflin cannot have both a Stamford and a Scranton branch. So there will be downsizing. all the office is concerned on who will go. This episode introduces Ryan to the office.

Oh My Lord Moment - Jan is holding a small meeting in Michael's office with Michael and Pam taking notes. Michael takes a call during the meeting from Todd Packer, obnoxious sales rep and one of Michael's friends. Todd unaware that Jan in the room says "Hey you big queer.......(when talking about Jan), hey Michael does the carpet match the drapes?" Michael says "Oh that is horrifying."

Semi-Oh My Lord Moment - Michael pretending to play a prank on Pam in front of Ryan. Michael accuses Pam of stealing post-it notes and has to fire her. Knowing Pam in the future it is hard to believe that she fell for this one, considering how bad a liar Michael is and how he is kinda laughing through the whole thing. But she does and when she finds out he is kidding she calls him "a jerk", which is one of the only time Pam calls Michael names.

Dwight - We see the first prank played between Jim and Dwight. Jim puts Dwights stapler in Jello. When Dwight insists Michael do something about him, Jim feigns his normal innocence.

My opinion - Well since this is the first episode and was shot months before the rest of the show began there are mostly appearance differences. Michael's hair is the most obvious to me. He has it slicked straight back which actually makes him look older, more of a slimy type of boss and somewhat balding. After that episode Steve Carell wears his hair on the show more like he wears it in real life which makes him look younger, and not so slick and suave.

Everyone looks less made up and more plain. Pam is insanely timid in the first episode as compared to even other ones in the first season where she seems to gain more confidence.

Jim and Pam - You find out that Pam doesn't want to spend her whole life being a receptionist and wants to be an illustrator. We find out Jim likes her drawings and knows her favorite flavor of yogurt, mixed berry. It doesn't take a genius to find out from this episode that he has quite a crush on her, and when he tries to get her to go out with the whole staff that evening, we are introduced to her fiance Roy, who doesn't seem to care about doing anything that Pam wants to. The first of Jim's many frustrations with her relationship is shown in the end of this episode.

Not much happens with the downsizing, that is for a much later show. And you don't get to see the supporting cast very much. The show ends unlike any other episode in the future; with Jim putting Michael's World's Best Boss cup in jello and the show playing out the theme music. But it was a nice way to introduce everyone.

On the eve of the first of September we begin the official countdown to The Office premiere. This is my favorite show of all time and a big hit in our household. With the writer's strike last year, I suffered immensely at having an abbreviated season. I am hoping for a long full season, with plenty of inappropriate comments, over the top conference room meetings, Dwight Dwight Dwight, and a little bit of Jam to make it all sweet.

I would have loved to have reviewed each episode from the day it premiered, but I didn't have a blog then. So I thought I would recap them all now and get some of you caught up in what should be a staple tv show in your household.

Also The Office Season 4 dvd comes out on September 2nd, a must buy for all the blooper and extra footage.

The Office follows the behaviors, situations and antics of the employees of Dunder Mifflin, a mid-level paper supply company in Scranton, PA. It is shot in documentary style and has no live audience. So you actually have to be intelligent and figure out for yourself what is funny.

The cast of characters:

Michael Scott (Steve Carell) is the Regional Manager of Dunder Mifflin Scranton. Is an expert at saying the wrong things at the wrong time. On a constant mission to be everyone's friend and accidentally alienating them at the same time.

Dwight Schrute (Rainn Wilson) is the Assistant To The Regional Manager. An uptight, over the top beet farmer, with a passion for Lord of The Rings and being a Lackawanna County volunteer sheriff.

Jim Halpert (John Krasinski) is the cute office sales rep, who loves to play pranks on Dwight and has a secret crush on the receptionist.

Pam Beesley (Jenna Fischer) is the aforementioned receptionist at Dunder Mifflin. She timid, lacks self-confidence, loves to draw and is engaged to warehouse employee Roy for over three years.

Angela Martin (Angela Kinsey) is a Dunder Mifflin accountant, who is rigid, very religious, a serious worker and having a secret relationship with Dwight Schrute.

Oscar Martinez (Oscar Nunez) is another DM accountant, who tolerates Michael's antics, and is in the closet from the rest of the office.

Kevin Malone (Brian Baumgartner) is the last of the three DM accountants, a goofy, child like man, who loves strippers, sports gambling and eating candy.

Meredith Palmer (Kate Flannery) is the office alcoholic. Known to flash at company parties and drink hand sanitizers for the alcohol content.

Kelly Kapoor (Mindy Kaling) is dippy, airy, celebrity obsessed customer service rep. Constantly clinging to office boyfriend, Ryan.

Ryan Howard (B.J. Novak) is the company temporary employee. A business college student who can't figure out how he got stuck at DM. The object of Michael Scott's affection.

Jan Levinson (Melora Hardin) is Michael's boss, and the deflector of many of Michael's inappropriate antics.

Roy Anderson (David Denman) is a warehouse employee who has been engaged to Pam Beesley for over three years, and lacking in attentiveness to her.

Darryl Philbin (Craig Robinson) is the warehouse manager. A man who enjoys teaching Michael imaginary hood phrases.

Stanley Hudson (Leslie David Baker), as Michael once called him something like "A Sassy, loveable, older black gentleman". Lives for pretzel day and crossword puzzles.

Phyllis Lapin (Phyllis Smith) is the older female sales rep with a love for Bob Vance of Vance Refrigeration, Dunder Mifflin's business neighbor.

Toby Flenderson (Paul Lieberstein) is the dreary and worn out human resources employee. The employee Michael loves to hate, as he constantly gets in the way of Michael's inappropriate ideas.

Well, its almost September, which is a good thing, cause I am very tired of watching reruns. I want my favorite shows back on with new episodes, and I want it now.

I always have so many comments and opinions after I see my favorite shows but had nowhere and no one to share it with, until now. I am going to recap each of my shows after their airing and give you my thoughts on the episode. Ones I will be reviewing - The Office, My Name Is Earl, and The Girls Next Door. I know, where the heck did The Girls Next Door come from in that list. Its my ultimate guilty pleasure.

I do not like any reality show where there are immunity idols, tribes, voting people off the island or out of the house. The only reality shows I like are the documentary style ones that follow people around and The Girls Next Door is like watching three Barbies, its just fun.
