I would like you to meet Mr. Freeze. Yes, I named him. I also name all of my dog's toys, my computer and my house. I'm a nerd, I think I told you this already.

But Mr. Freeze is such an awesome addition. I actually had no clue that he would be as big as he was. I had only seen a 5 cubic foot freezer and then a monstrous sized one. So when I ordered a 7.2 one online, I figured it would only be a little bigger than the 5, but she was bigger than I thought, but enough for the two of us. I am bad at math and measurements. I had him shipped to my local Lowe's and picked him up yesterday. It is actually in a different spot than I had originally planned due to the short cord that comes with it.

So far I just love it and had already put a few things in it. I have a turkey waiting at my mom's neighbor's house to take up some room and some veggies I will be getting at ShopRite on Sunday. I bought some clear bins to put things in the freezer in categories for when it gets fuller, so things don't get lost on the bottom.

Welcome Mr. Freeze.

The blue box is one of my Rubbermaid bins full of cut up veggies and in the one slideable basket are chicken legs I got for cheap in air sealed bags.

I can't wait until we move into a bigger place in the next few months. A deep freezer is one the top of my list for things to find. We have NO storage space in our teeny tinny freezer right now. I swear something hits me in the head everytime I open the door it is so crammed full of stuff.
